On Hanse Sail Saturday, August 10, 2019, the Dierkower Elche International Hanse Masters Tournament will take place for the thirteenth time on the rugby field in the Gehlsdorf sports park. The game will be played in the non-Olympic 10-a-side rugby variant with 10 players per team, flying substitutions and 2 halves of 10 minutes each. In 2019, a women’s and a men’s tournament will be held as part of the Hanse Masters.

Rostock coach Robin Schrader is looking forward to next Saturday: “The Hanse Masters are the first tough test of the new season for us, after we only recently started training again after the summer break. New players will have the opportunity to gain playing experience and learn from the old hands.”

After the strenuous rugby games, there will be some fun competitions for general entertainment. The first kick-off in Gehlsdorf will take place at 11 a.m. Admission is free and, as always, refreshments will be provided.
